I have eaten some savoury foods too: one memorable dinner included wonderful scallops, veal sweetbreads and marrow bones, seal sausage and a guinea hen with foie gras. Next week I head to a landmark Montreal restaurant, so more to come on that. Last weekend was dim sum and a visit to the market.
Brunch here is very popular and delicious. Tomorrow I am going to have a late brunch of veal cheeks and polenta, as it was a bit too much to face at 10:30 am last weekend. Then off to try out another bakery. Oh, and a new brunch spot to try on Sunday...

Any comments on that Sunday brunch or the uptown almost Rosemount bakery?

Ummmm. It was good? I'll try to do better in February, by paying more attention and maybe even bringing my camera.
